Harringay Traders Association welcomes you to Harringay through this new Digital Directory. That's Harringay (N4), and not Haringey (the Borough). This has for many years, caused much confusion. Compound this with the A105 Green Lanes, which starts from Stoke Newington (N16), through Harringay (N4, N8), Turnpike Lanes (N15), Wood Green 'High Road' (N22), Palmers Green (N13) to Winchmore Hill (N21), and you can appreciate how difficult it has been for shops and businesses to identify themselves to potential customers.

The role of HTA is to play an active role in promoting the area, cleaning up the image, increase safety in the community and most importantly representing the needs of the local businesses. We would like to think we have played our role over the course of the 20 years, improving Harringay Green Lanes making it Greener, Cleaner and Friendlier.

HTA has campaigned for and against many issues; like 'Red Route' in the early 90s, switching on the the first Christmas lights with the late Bernie Grant MP, removing the dreaded 'wheely bins' from the high street, planted more trees and introduced hanging baskets of flowers, cleaning up the Bridge, launching of the 'Business Pack' in 2005 are just some of these issues. All of this was only possible by working in partnership with Haringey Council, Metropolitan Police, The Resident Groups, City Growth, Arena Shopping Park and the support of all our members..

If you are a local business within the Harringay area, and if you haven't done so already, join us and get your business promoted on this site. We are a voluntary group who share the same vision for Harringay. If you are a visitor to our Locale, we hope you enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the unique specialist stores and the delicious cuisine of many restaurants.

Thank you for all your support.
